KLM Development Romania S.R.L. coordinates the development of innovative solar and photovoltaic projects in Romania. Our activities focus on identifying and implementing suitable sites for large-scale solar parks, particularly in the regions of Prahova, Ilfov, Dâmbovița, Argeș and Giurgiu.

In close cooperation with our German partners, KLM Projektentwicklung and KLM Architekten, we can draw on extensive international experience. Together with one of the largest solar investors in Germany, our partners have realized more than 270 solar parks with a total output of more than 2 gigawatts in recent years. This expertise underpins the expansion of our activities in Romania.

We are currently building an interdisciplinary team of urban planners, geographers and architects to create a solid basis for project development and to develop a pipeline of 1-gigawatt projects. This process is supported by an expert team of more than 40 architects, engineers and specialists who are actively contributing knowledge and resources from Germany.

Our goal is to support the energy transition in Romania by realizing sustainable projects that meet both local requirements and international standards. We work closely with local authorities, municipalities and partners to ensure efficient processes, detailed site analyses and close coordination with all project stakeholders.
